The Virginia YMCA is a statewide educational organization which works to promote leadership and civic responsibility in the youth of Virginia.  Programs such as the Model General Assembly, Model Executive Government Conference, and the Model Judiciary Program introduce young people to the inner workings of modern-day state government. These programs also convey the importance of citizen participation and public service.
